The Book Geek

The Books.

Since I adore reading, why not start some reading lists? These are usually during school breaks, or sometimes when I just feel like putting up a ready list. So watch this space often, you never know when I might add a list!

My Summer 2008 Reading List!(DONE AND OVER WITH!)

April-May 2008

So, since summer’s in full swing and I have nothing better to do than read books and blog, here’s what I plan to buy, and read this summer. After I have read the first five chapters, I will write a short review based on my first impression and once the book is finished, I will write a full review on the book. Any book suggestions? Comment away!

1. Midnighters: The Secret Hour by Scott Westerfeld(DONE)

2. Midnighters: Touching Darkness by Scott Westerfeld(DONE)

3. Midnighters: Blue Noon by Scott Westerfeld

4. Pop Princess by Rachel Cohn(DONE)

5. Secrets of My Hollywood Life: On Location by Jen Calonita(not reviewed! I bought it too late!)

6. The It Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar(DONE)

My Christmas 2008 Reading List!

December 2008

It’s the end of October already, so why not gear up for the December break by listing down possible reads during the holidays. After all, I’ve come to learn that the holidays are the perfect time to catch up on reading! The format will be a little different from my summer reading list, but the gist is practically the same. I’ll inform you guys once I’ve bought a book on the list and within one or two days, a full review will follow. OK? OK. Once again, if you guys have any suggestions for books I can possibly read, just comment away!

1. Last Christmas by Kate Brian

2. Privilege by Kate Brian

3. The Ashleys: Jealous? by Melissa de la Cruz

4. Waiting by Ha Jin(Our fourth quarter HRR book, I’ve got to read ahead..)

5. Paradise Lost by Kate Brian

6. Stardust by Neil Gaiman(I have the book already, but I’ve got so much stuff going on to read it, so I’ll save it for the holidays!)

To be continued!
