So we got a second screen today for the iMac, and let me tell you why screen spanning is gonna be so cool!(I haven’t actually used the computer yet since we put in the monitor, my mom’s using it..gar.)

• I can surf and watch TV shows at the same time!
• I can surf and browse my iTunes library at the same time!
• I can do my homework and browse my iTunes library at the same time!
• I can write my ‘novel’ and watch TV shows at the same time!
• I can make custom album covers while surfing!
• I can make five custom album covers at the same time!
• I can properly copy an artist’s logo for my custom stuff..
• I can edit videos amazingly!
• Everything just got bigger!
• I CAN DO LOADS OF STUFF AT ONCE! EEP!..

And that, my friends, are the ten reasons why having two screens just rocks..!

It’s been even longer than the last lul in posting, but I just wanted to say that I’m still alive, and this blog is still alive. Redundant, much? A lot has happened since I last posted, so I’ll do a quick recap instead of a long and winding post that’ll take ages to write(and read..)..

• I went to the e-heads reunion concert with my cousins and my parents(papa was kind of our ticket in…)
• I finished the Florante at Laura project, a video of half the book. My part: Director/Editor.. garr..
• I practically ran our fashion show. I chose the music, got everyone together and coordinated everything.
• I got a new iPod! A 4th Generation Nano in orange.. And I got a new digital SLR!
• It’s sem break, so we went to Binondo..
• I’ve been lazing around the house, surfing and doing nothing, guilt-free.
• A lot of new albums from my favorite artists have been released! The Sugababes, The Saturdays, Girls Aloud, Leon Jackson, Craig David and Agnes Carlsson!
• I’ve read Legacy and Revelation already and I can’t wait for Paradise Lost!
• 7,334 songs and my iTunes library is still growing everyday!
• I made some cool new ringtones on Audacity!
• Patty’s almost coming home! Another two weeks, I think..
• I wanna watch HSM3, but I’m waiting for Patty to come back, Kurama and I have to see her suffer!(or will she?)
• I changed layouts! Isn’t it cute? haha.. But now I can’t find my old banner.. I’ll have to look for it later.
• So far, I’ve been to Megamall, SM North, Trinoma, Greenhills(again, after we went with Tita Len and Ate De and Ate Cissy and Kuya Neil..) and Binondo since exams wrapped up. That plus a week’s worth of Cherubim rehearsals, maybe a total of about 1 day in the UP Press marketing office and a visit to a doctor who stuck a tube down my nose into my throat(that hurt!).

I guess that’s it. If I missed something, it’ll follow later, or next time.

• I’m loving Britannia High. Now I know it’s another desperate attempt to relive the days of I Dream, but it’s actually not that bad! I’m loving the song Lauren and Claudine sang when Lauren was in the studio..
• The X Factor live shows started three weeks ago, and so far, so good. Although Daniel should’ve gone earlier, he doesn’t have the personality or special qualities to carry his not so spectacular/less than average voice.
• My Multiply has been undergoing numerous makeovers. I’ve rapidly changed layouts and I’ve finally made it network-only(after weeks of telling myself I’d work on it..). Wanna see? Go here and add me up if I know you in person!

I’m in the mood to write, so I guess that’s what I’ll do, right? Right.

A lot of things have been happening, and a lot of things are going wrong this year. I don’t know what it is, but it’s been kinda rough lately. My grades have been anything but stellar, and I’m not feeling this year, for some strange reason.

I’ve said before that I’d make this year the best, and I had the best start, Patty and Al’ya in the same class as me, a clean slate and new teachers. What went wrong? I have absolutely no idea.

SO, I guess I’ll just have to get through it(corny much..)..

On a lighter note, I NEED MORE BOOKS! haha.. and I got my iMac back!!!!! I’m in download heaven with an extra 500GB on top of my 250GB!!!!!! haha..

Ok, so this is really a week in view post but yeah, you get the picture.

I think the power cord of my iMac died. My dad said that a fuse short-circuited but when he fixed it, it still wouldn’t work. SO, we have to bring it to Ynzal and I’ll be living off my MacBook for the next week or so. rawr.

Anyway, we sang for the UAAP opening today, and it was WILD. The six biggest universities in the country with the best in the country, the University of the Philippines(LET’S GO UP!) hosting. We sang, and it was amazing!

WHY IS ROO ISLAND WINNING THE ALTADOR CUP????!!!!??? haha.. and I leave you guys with that question.

I just found out that someone has been going around my favorite blogs and saying all these false things about me, it’s driving me nuts. I mean, does that person have nothing better to do than make me miserable and annoyed for the next few days?

I’ve been through all the haters invading my blog, I can handle them now but this is another story altogether, this person is telling lies about ME, someone he/she doesn’t know. 

It’s hard to take, I won’t be posting on any tag board for the next two weeks just to prove my point to my readers, because I owe my blogs’ life to them, they kept it alive when I didn’t want it to go on anymore.

Cheesy, much? Seriously. I’ve struggled for a long time accepting who I am with my classmates constantly teasing me and so I don’t want other people thinking that I’m something I’m not, especially when it’s negative.

I have enough problems as it is.

So yesterday was a special day on two counts, lemme explain…

It was my mom’s birthday yesterday so we went out to eat(in normal Chinese manner) and Zong was the restaurant of choice. We usually eat in places like Gloria Maris or Shangrila but my mom wanted to try something new. The food was OK, close but not quite although the fish was good. Then we went malling, the usual and when we got home, Ate Tara and Kuya Mik crashed here while Tito Mike was casting a big toe since they just got home from Palawan. Seriously, they all got sunburns! We talked, watched mac ads and stuff so yeah.

Then, WESTLIFE! Haha yes, everything is related to Westlife, deal with it. They performed to their biggest audience yet, 82,000 and they were all there just to see Westlife. Haha, yes, CROKE PARK! The pinnacle of their career, and pictures are slowly going online(I LOVE THEM!)! I seriously can’t wait for the DVD, it’s gonna be mind-blowing. Seriously.

It’s not on my reading list ‘coz I didn’t think I would find it but whatever. Yes, I haven’t read Legacy yet but I couldn’t control myself, the fact that there is a book in the Private series that can be bought here and that I haven’t read yet will haunt me forever so I just had to get it, ASAP.

I said when I reviewed ‘The It Girl’ that no book could come close to Private and this book solidifies what I said, it’s everything I could’ve ever wanted in a book and the writing is amazing. The plot line isn’t lazy like ‘The It Girl’, the events are snappy and it gets to the point.

Not reading Legacy is kind of a disadvantage for me because when I first read that Dash and Reed were at the Legacy together, I was kind of confused. BUT the good thing about Kate Brian is that she explains it again, the book can stand on it’s own and even if you haven’t read the previous books, you’ll understand it.

Like when Reed broke up with Josh, I was confused at the start but then the story started to unfold. If you read the previous book, you might’ve not noticed but if you haven’t, you’ll know.

This is the kind of chick-lit I like, the kind that isn’t shallow like ‘The Clique’ or ‘The It Girl’ for example. So yeah, I adore this book!

The fact that they all now have iPhones is the icing on the cake! Seriously, my favorite book series and my favorite phone together is great!

So I recently got a hold of this album, mainly because I found out that I used to hear ‘Maybe’ on the local music channel a lot and I loved it. The album is what I would imagine playing in a very chic New York club or a movie like Down with Love or something like that. Plus the 60’s elements mixed with pop make a perfect listen for me, mainly because 60’s music hits a sore spot for me.

I absolutely adore this album, as I said, it’s got the 60’s elements which are soooo cool. Seriously, her voice fits this kind of music, the sort of upscale lounge-y music with melodies to die for. I love the melodies of the songs on this album, again they’re really cool and the arrangements make it even cooler with the instruments.

Favorite tracks? ‘Free Me’, ‘Maybe’, ‘Tomorrow’, ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘Lay Your Love On Me’ and ‘You Are’ are the best tracks on the album for me. If I were to take out the rest of the tracks and just have this on the album, it would still make sense, and songs that can stand on their own are what makes this album great.

Short review, I’m kinda lazy but if I would have to describe this album as a whole, it would be mind blowing, seriously. Oh, and by the way, the cover was made by ME! haha.. yeah.

Haha. So I went shopping today after having my hair done(which is now like I came out of a shampoo ad..) and guess what I found? AMBITION! The seventh book in the Private Series.. YIPEEEEEE!!!!!! so yeah. Review to follow!

So yeah, I finally got to making a new banner and making the layout more, well, bright. I absolutely adore my banner and the layout is simpler so yeah. It’s almost the start of the new school year so I thought why not change my blog’s look? Haha ok.

‘Tis another day of lazing around but I’m excited for tomorrow, I’m gonna have my hair re-straightened! FINALLY! YAY! I really can’t stand my hair right now, it’s annoying.
